Welcome to the new isacenter.org!

Dear Friends,

We are more than halfway through 2017, and we’re shaking things up by bringing you something new. You may have noticed a major change on isacenter.org. We’ve been working hard over the past few weeks to provide visitors with a better user experience, and we’re happy to announce our new website is now live.

It has a simple, easy to navigate interface that gives you the most relevant information on ISA’s advocacy and programs. Visit the “About” pages to learn more about our history as an organization, the leaders behind it, and how to get in touch with us. You will also find information on the Performance Governance System (PGS) and the Islands of Good Governance (IGG), together with information on our major events, under “Programs”.

Most importantly, we aim to regularly deliver governance and strategy resources to our online community. The revamped website features a blog page with all the latest stories on our work in the public sector, and a resource page with links to our case studies and other publications. We’ll consistently be sharing news, interviews, essays, and resources that showcase governance reform in the Philippines, but best of all, we’d like you to be more involved. You can now contribute your own governance stories through [email protected]. Feel free to tell us about your own initiatives and what your organization is doing to strengthen the governance advocacy.

Our latest resource on the blog, “5 lessons in risk management”, features key takeaways from the recently concluded ISA Skills Lab, where we gathered over 30 delegates from the strategy management offices of local governments and national agencies undergoing the PGS to develop risk management plans for their organizations.

You can expect similar resources in the future as we host more training programs, such as the upcoming 16th Governance Boot Camp from September 19-27, 2017. Online registration for the event is now open. Join us to gain full access to valuable knowledge on developing, executing, and monitoring your own long-term strategy.

We hope to see you soon at one of our events. Before then, let us know what you think of our new website.

Sincerely,

Francisco del Rosario Jr.
Chairman
