Supporting the Transition of Public Schools to Blended Learning
During the onset of the pandemic, important questions surrounding the future of education have been raised. With over twenty-seven million students and one million educators and non-teaching personnel in the country, the uncertainty in the education sector during the crisis continues to provoke concern and skepticism in the public. While it has been stressed that education will never be the same, the proposed digital shift is in question. Several issues have been raised that revolve around the lack of digital infrastructure and systems, needed training for educators for effective teaching, and the home environment of students that are deemed to be disruptive for sustained learning.
In this webinar, we focus on the current state of the education sector. By gathering learning institutions and initiating the conversation, we aim to amplify the discussions of the challenges in retooling the national educational system. We hope to tackle issues concerning this emerging system and discuss the ways in which we can revive our education system to develop a more level playing field for all students and educators.
