ANSAP chapter presidents and members from 17 regions across the Philippines participate in a discussion about the organization’s desired transformation.

Chapter presidents and members of the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP) gathered at the Manila Hotel on 26 March 2015 for a Chapter President’s Meeting to discuss the organization’s desired transformation.

Cristela Villa-Real, Head of the ANSAP Office for Strategy Management, kicked off by presenting an overview of ANSAP’s governance road map before 17 ANSAP chapters from all over the Philippines. The organization’s vision is to become the premiere organization in nursing practice and development, recognized worldwide.

Discussions during the event also tackled the organization’s governance scorecard, a live reference for breakthrough targets such as the adoption of at least two ANSAP standards of nursing practice adopted by the ASEAN alliance of nursing administrators.

With assistance from the ANSAP Office for Strategy Management, each chapter drafted its own scorecard in alignment with ANSAP’s breakthrough goals; and by the end of the meeting, all 17 chapter presidents presented their finished scorecards to ANSAP President Linda Buhat.
