Filipino governance practice leader among winners of John Blundell Elevator Pitch Award

MANILA, Philippines—Last week at the Annual Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner hosted by the Atlas Network in New York, Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) Executive Director Chris Zaens took home second honours for a one-minute presentation he made on public sector transformation initiatives in the Philippines.

Zaens spoke about ISA and its work before 200 donors, supporters, and advocates of the worldwide freedom movement, who were asked to choose the winners of the John Blundell Elevator Pitch Award via electronic voting at the event. His presentation was judged second best out of 20 pitches from across 18 countries.

Jonathan Isaby of the United Kingdom’s Taxpayers’ Alliance came in first, while Ximena Ramirez of Chile’s Libertad y Desarrollo came in third.
